Stan Webb Chicken Shack ‎– Stan's Blues

In 1964 he formed his first band Sounds of Blue, in which Christine Perfect (then Fleetwood Mac), Andy Silvester and Chris Wood (later Traffic) played. Chicken Shack was born out of that in 1967.

In 1974, Webb disbanded Chicken Shack and went on to play with Savoy Brown before assembling a new band on behalf of Broken Glass, which, however, only stayed together for a single studio album. Webb founded a new version of Chicken Shack, which with varying line-ups and a few interruptions (the short-lived band Stan Webb's Speedway in 1982) are still active to this day.
